Pyjama Day 2022 in aid of Pieta House

Thank you to the Amber Flag Committee who organised a fabulous Pyjama Day where much needed funds were raised for Pieta House. They got each class to vote for their favourite movie to watch in advance and organised microwave popcorn and treats for everyone.

Mindfulness Yoga on Pyjama Day

What better exercise to take part in than some relaxing yoga on our Pyjama Day in aid of Pieta House.

Mindfulness colouring for our 2nd Amber Flag

Thank you to the members of the Amber Flag Committee who have prepared colouring sheets for every class. They have taught us of the importance of taking time to relax and do something enjoyable for ourselves during our busy days, such as colouring!

We have been awarded our first Amber Flag!

The Amber Flag is an initiative designed to promote Mental Health in schools. Some of the activities we carried out to earn it were holding a Pyjama Day to raise funds for Pieta House, organizing a Buddy Bench, mindfulness programme in school, regular meditation activities and much more. Well done to all children for taking part in the initiative!

Winners of our joke competition!

Our Pyjama Day was held to raise awareness of mental health for our Amber Flag, so we decided to hold a joke competition as well! The winning jokes were:

What do you call a happy bunny? A hoptimist!

What does Tennessee? Ida no, but Alaska!

😂😂😂

Well done to the two 4th class girls who won!
