About Us

St. Mary's N.S. is situated at the foot of the Knockmealdown Mountains in the village of Clogheen, Co. Tipperary.

We are a five teacher school with three mainstream classes. Our staff are as follows:

Junior and Senior Infants: Ms. Zara Wade

1st and 2nd Class: Ms. Jacqueline Nugent

3rd and 4th Class: Ms. Laura Keating

5th and 6th Class: Mr. Tony Hallahan (Principal)

Special Education Teacher: Ms. Marion O'Neill

Special Needs Assistant: Ms. Nicole Butler

School Secretary: Mrs. Vera O'Brien

Office hours are from 9am - 1pm Monday to Friday.

Uniform: Uniform days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Our uniform consists of a maroon jumper/cardigan and tie, grey shirt, grey trousers/skirt and school shoes.

Tracksuit: Tracksuit days are Thursday and Friday. Our tracksuit consists of a black fleece, white polo shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms.
We have a non-uniform day on the last Friday of every month.

St. Mary's N.S. is under the patronage of the diocese of Waterford and Lismore.

Our opening hours are 9.00am to 2.40pm. Infant home time is 1.40pm. Break times are 11am and 12.30pm.
